The father of Nirvana, and the beautiful face of a twisted love story, Kurt Cobain.
DIAGNOSIS:
ManiaManic Depressive
Depression
Bipolar Disorder
Suicidal
Rage
Kurt Cobain is said to have “Mania” which is the least obvious of all of his mental anguish. Mania (if you are unsure of that) is the opposite end of the whole scheme of manic depressive. It’s the very high of the high, and you know you’re about to drop soon.
An album that personifies most of his Mania and shows most of his songs when he was in a Manic state is “Nevermind” (The one with the baby on the cover)
Songs like “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and “Breed” is an obvious occurrence of his Mania, as opposed to songs like “All Apologies” and “Polly” where he is much slower and softer, and somewhat “lazier” with his singing.
His rage is obvious in most of his grungier songs, screaming, violence. Kurt was a sad victim to all of his demons in him.
Sources say Kurt could go from rage to mania within minutes, tying together the manic depressive disorder theory/bipolar disorder… Other evidence of this disorder is his song “Lithium” a drug he used supposedly to treat his disorder.
Kurt, unfortunately, left us in this world due to his mysterious and controversial suicide. Kurt abused drugs and alcohol, intensifying his mood swings and anxiety, rage, and mania.
Kurt Cobain will forever be missed in the music world, and by his fans and beautiful daughter alike.
We aren’t alone.
Stars have to fall some time.
